I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Nair, not only is he a brilliant surgeon he has the manner lacking in others, he takes time to listen, advise and explain in a clear and concise way the risks and benefits of proposed surgery. I will be forever grateful for his are and treatment.

After I referred to Raj Nair, he promptly discovered a tumour in a diverticulum next to my left ureter. Mr Nair instilled great confidence in his expertise and experience by carefully and clearly explaining possible scenarios, with options and procedures all along the pathway. He has made himself available at any time and been very responsive to communications. Both hospital procedures have been over the weekend, having very been promptly booked. Mr Nair has followed up after surgery, during the weekend, with an excellent bedside manner. I consider myself lucky and can ask for no more of a consultant - what my friends and family expected to be a distressing time for me, as really not been thanks to Raj Nair.

Having previously being with another urology consultant I transferred to Dr Nair after becoming worried about the lack of information and empathy being given to me after my diagnosis of a tumour in my bladder. First impressions mean a lot and Dr Nair immediately put me at ease with his friendly and calming personality. After giving me the information I was looking for, and more, I immediately felt a lot more relaxed and calm about the whole situation. He explains all the facts you need to know, whether good or bad, to give you a full overview of what is to come and will not hide anything from you. Dr Nair kept me calm and informed from the first consultation, through the surgery and during the recovery period. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Nair and would be extremely happy to continue with him for my future treatment.

I had my first operation with Mr Nair during Covid and felt supported and safe throughout the entire process. Mr Nair was available to answer all queries before and after the procedure and even went the extra mile to ring a family member who had additional queries.
